All about goji berries

Like noni, mangosteen, pineapple, acai, pomegranate, raspberry, dried prunes and blackcurrants and blueberries, goji berries belong to the so-called superfruits. These contain an abundant combination of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, polysaccharides and antioxidants. Goji berries contain 18 amino acids and 21 minerals, the most important of which are iron, copper, zinc, selenium, phosphorus and calcium. In addition, they contain beta-sitosterol (an anti-inflammatory), linoleic acid (an unsaturated omega-6 fatty acid), sesquiterpenoids (cyperone, solavetivone), tetrapenoids (zeaxanthin, physalin), betaine and germanium (a mineral used in the fight against cancer, among other things).

They boost resistance and support and improve the immune system, improve night-time rest, improve vitality, protect the liver, improve the eyes and blood quality, increase libido in both men and women, reduce acne and skin rashes and help with losing weight.

Goji berries also contain polysaccharides that have a beneficial effect on cell renewal. They are therefore regarded as a natural anti-ageing agent.

Absolutely recommended for daily application and use.

Goji berries originally come from Asia. Around 85 varieties of goji berries can be distinguished there. The best goji berries come from higher-lying mountain areas, including Tibet. In North & Central America there are now some 15 varieties of goji berries, but usually in a more wild form than we know from Asia. This is mainly because goji berries have traditionally been used in medicines and food in China and other Asian countries. These berries are harvested fully ripe and dried naturally.
